Cracked windshield, what can / should i do?
Came out of work today to find i have like an 8in long crack running from the top edge of my windshield strait down.
No chips, splintering, spidering or anything like that… jjust a single hairline crack that like i said is roughly 6-8in long.
I really cant afford $300 or so bucks to get the whole thing replaced right now so i was wondering if there is anything i can do to keep the crack from getting larger, splintering out est…
I have heard that there are places that can repair damaged windshields… is that something i should consider?
Also i heard that using a glass cutter and cross scoring in the crack can help keep it for spreading….
any advice is welcome, thanks!
